^ Aaron Johnson was in Kick-Ass! He's kinda gorgeous. I watched the trailer for the film, and he looked extremely young compared to now for only four years time. I'm reading The Lovely Bones for an English project. My teacher, Mr. Clayton, said that we had to pick a book from a selection of [around] seven, and I just chose the one that interested me the most. I almost chose Lord of the Flies, but my friend Elizabeth chose that one and the former just seemed to interest me more, anyway.

Monsters Of Men by Patrick Ness. Last one in the trilogy! I love this series so much. Other than that, a book Panic by Jeff Abbott, which I just got out of the library. It's...confusing. And I am a complete sucker for the YA genre...

Well, I'm still reading The Lovely Bones for English, and I'm almost done. It's such a good book! I haven't really read any proper novels lately and this one is actually amazing. My mother said that we're going to watch the movie together once I finish it (though she told me the film isn't nearly as good as the book. Are they ever?).
I'm also reading Withering Tights by Louise Rennison. Her books are just so funny.

I recently took a trip to the library. Came out with Oliver Twist, David Copperfield and a superiority complex.
What I actually wanted was the first book from the Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, that they didn't have, which just about cancels out any impression you might've got that I'm a grown up reader.

^ I absolutely love those books. Lemony Snicket is so brilliant. I played the video game and movie (with Jim Carrey!) before reading the books in like, sixth grade, but I love it all. One of my favorite series.

I finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower this morning. I read it in literally one night and one morning. Everyone is currently talking about it because of the movie (which my roommate and I want to go see), and I really liked it. I really loved Patrick and Sam. Such good characters (Charlie, too, of course). And all the talk of A Separate Peace throughout, be still my heart!
Also, who was talking about Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging? I loved those books! I need to read them again.

^ Hah, that was me. I still need to get the second book, but I'm having a hard time finding it. My school library computer says that it's in stock, but whenever I look, it isn't. Just my luck.
I'm currently reading She's One of The Boys by an online author. I think her handle is lily-rain or something like that. She has something like 10,000,000 reads. I find the idea of it overused and a bit cliche, but I'm still enjoying it. I guess it's her writing style.

What am I reading right at this moment? A short (that's a realtive word - it's around 16 pages) essay for my english comp class about why prisoners are mistreated in prisons. Yeah, it's about as interesting as it sounds. My mind is about to explode due to this dribble of words!
No, but I'm still trying to work my way through Water for Elephants I think I mentioned a while back. It's going very slowly. Very slowly.

^ I need to read Water for Elephants. It's on my list--that, and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Ugh, I'm currently reading Pride and Prejudice. I'm not enjoying it, though. Granted I'm only one hundred pages in, and I've been told it gets better in the second part...
Also, I'm still muddling through The Blind Assassin. Good book, inspirational book; it's just taking me a while.

I'm falling into memory lane a bit. I found Among the Enemy in a resale book shop a while back and only now started reading it. I'm loving it so much, there are no words. This was one of my absolute favorite series when I was in 6th Grade, and I forgot how much I missed it! So it's definitely making me happy to reread. Now if only I could find the rest in the Shadow Children series I'd be one happy duckling!

The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson, which was the book that my advisor (a history teacher) gave me for graduation back in June. It's his favorite book, and I'm enjoying it thus far, even though nonfiction is usually not my genre of choice.

Just bought and began 1984 by George Orwell.
I've wanted it for a while because I feel that it's one of those novels which you just ought to read. I'm barely five pages into it, but it's fairly intriguing.
