*jumpstarts thread with a picture dump* I've been playing a good few of my families - most of whom started off as CAS couples - through to the stage that the children are nearing adulthood, and the parents their elder years. It's fun; I love seeing how genes mix and match, as well as how the kids' personalities develop. I've been doing some building too... problem is, I don't think the architecture of my neighbourhood is going to be that consistent... This is a set of novelty apartments I built recently, which are basically just miniature houses on stilts. They're a bit awkward to have families living in, but I like my handiwork here. Reckon they look better from neighbourhood view though. This is Alex Snow, who is currently living in one of them (the green one). He was originally going to be a character in one of the many sims stories I never got around to making. Now he's just a regular sim bachelor, who's yet to decide what he actually wants from life. He's in the Gamer career and has the Pleasure aspiration. This would be Adrian and Allison Puce, another family living in these apartments. They're married, but have little in common. The way I look at it, they were having a casual relationship when suddenly, Allison realised she was pregnant; and Adrian decided to marry her to ease the stress of the whole thing. Bad idea. He's a Romance sim, while she's a Family one... I think? They don't communicate with each other much and his roving eye has the potential to cause serious division in the home. After the birth of their first son, Desmond, followed by twins Bartalby and Kendra, they had to move out... their current place was far too cramped. Here would be their new house, a bungalow which is pretty far removed from where they used to live. Desmond as a child, getting his report card, while little Bart and Kendra bond with Allison. All three of them are now teens, but I haven't taken any more pictures of them. That's all for now. I've a few more families kicking around, but very few pictures of them or their abodes. Maybe they'll get a look in next time.

After my "DELETE ALL THE THINGS!" episode, I've been creating a new neighbourhood. I have all my old CC still, which is nice, but I'm still kind of raw over my own stupidity, having lost my old legacy family. I'd been playing them for over a year and a half (I was still on gen. 1) because I got too attached. However, I've started a new one, and I'm hoping] to document it, although I haven't decided if I'm going to try and make it plotty or just observational. We're at that 'just started' stage, so my founder has all the joys of lawn living to look forward to. In the snow. (The seasons are set up Winter-Autumn-Spring-Winter) This is my new founder Willhelm.

Generation Five just graduated from college, and I've moved them back to Belladonna Cove (except for Blair Green, because he's a moody, distant artist, and he wants to be in Bluewater Village). I have eight families to play this generation. That's the legacy main house in Belladonna Cove. And that's Blair during his university days. He's absolutely adorable. My father just doesn't understand this, though. He said that he looks like Michael Jackson (my mom told me once that he looks like a girl).

^ He is a cute sim. Does give off slight MJ vibes! If he had the same colouring as Michael had, he'd pass as a sim version of him. Your legacy house is really pretty by the way! Looks great from neighbourhood view. I've been building rather than playing recently. However, my legacy founders recently became elders. Their eldest daughter is about to become an adult. It'll be time to pick an heir soon! Toby, my founder's townie husband, was first up to bat - after a pretty rip-roaring birthday party. The damage wasn't too bad. My founder Selene followed suit after a day or so, and her ascent into elderhood was fairly graceful... ...though I did change her out of that base game get up as soon as I could! Still cute together, in their twilight years. This would be my most probable heir, Nemea, who is Selene and Toby's third child. She's a family sim, super nice... but a bit of a brat, going along with the persona I've crafted for her. It's going to be down to her or one of her twin youngest siblings, Eos or Helios, who are colourful characters in their own right. Meanwhile, the burglar takes a spin in their dance sphere. It could only be a legacy.

I'm sad. I changed my default eyes recently, and it messed up my game slightly. I don't know why; it's not normal. One of my Sims--the heir, none the less--has some weird non-eyes now, and I don't know how to fix it. I've made it back around to his house in the rotation, so now I don't know what I'm going to do. But otherwise, Blair (from my last post) and his girlfriend had the first child of Generation Six, Nicholas. So instead of playing today, I fooled around in Body Shop. I tried to retexture a hair using GIMP, realized that it was not possible after getting four done, and so I cracked open Photoshop for the first time. It's so different than GIMP--it took me forever just to learn how to do basic things, like select something and save. But I think I like it better. Anyway, I have five of Pooklet's naturals done--volatile and all of family one.

Thread revive with a big post! ;D I've been playing around in Bluewater Village for the past few weeks, mainly with Malcolm Landgraab. After a long time of having no idea what to do with him, I finally got a little dramatic story for him. Okay, so it kind of came about after watching Rascal Flatts' new video a few times *cough* it'ssoamazingi'mshamefullypluggingit*cough*. But hey, it gave me inspiration for him, and I can't argue with that. Picture dump!! First of all, this is Malcolm, Shalott-ified! In my game, Malcolm is kind of the Don Lothario of Bluewater Village. Seriously, he had like four girlfriends when I came back to him a couple weeks ago. And while these types of sims can be amusing for a while, I get tired of them fairly quickly. So I needed to pair Malcolm up with someone who would bring him back to earth and make him settle down. Finding no such townie to do this, I decided to create my own! I went on CAS, created Bailey Driscol and plopped her into my game as a townie. I waited a little bit for them to run into each other, got impatient again, and finally teleported her into his house. I think I also cheated to make them friends, but it took longer than usual for her to react positively to his romantic endeavours. I love sims that do exactly what I want them to. Anyway, they eventually went on a date. A dark semi-crappy picture of Bailey. With Landgraab smiling creepily over her shoulder... That went fine, but they still weren't in love, so they went on another date, which was a huge success. If you're wondering why they are in formal dress, they had just been to a fancy restaurant with the Visitor Controller in it. Malcolm broke up with (most) of his girlfriends, Bailey moved in, and life was going swimmingly. Then one day the last girlfriend, a sim a created a loooooong time ago named Charlotte, decided to stroll by, around the same time Bailey came home from work. She immediately moved out. And so now, Malcolm is sulking around my game, enhaling "juice" from a special bar I downloaded from MTS and "falling asleep" every once in awhile. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get him and Bailey back together or not. In other BV news, the Ramirez's welcomed they're second child, Ana to the family, Florence is having a baby with her friend Kenneth Despret (even though they're not romantically involved... it's complicated), the Tinker's adopted a cute child named Stacy, and Gilbert and his wife had twins. Denise still isn't dead yet, grr..... Thank God I'm done with that sub-hood. It's on to the colleges for me....

I love this thread! I'm so glad it was revived. In my game, Generation Seven recently moved to college, which meant that it was make-over and picture time. The men this generation are just all studs, there's nothing else I can say about them. Jacoby looks just like his grandfather, Alexander, who is probably my favorite Sim of all so far in this legacy.

I love Lauren and Evan! They're so cute! ;D I'm slowly pushing my way through the college neighborhoods. They're gettting a little more interesting since some of my favorite sims have just moved there, but still, it's kinda boring. But anyway, one of the houses I played so far was a dorm that held my favorite sim of the moment, Storme, and her once-townie friend Lora. They had just moved to college and Storme comes from a huge family, so I thought I would have them have a moving in party. It was nothing too exciting, but I got this lovely photo that will make her parents happy: All four of the Corria sisters, Jewel, Skye, Raiine, and Storme There was always a weird age gap between all of them since Raiine was the first one to go to college (Jewel and Skye had already grown up when I got University). So Jewel's an elder, Skye's almost an elder, Raiine just graduated from college a rotation or two ago, and Storme, or course, just got there. [/ramble]

I opened up my game for the first time in a while today. Got a little playing done in my BACC. I'm up to a figurative population of 24. That's four out of five households in the neighborhood. A makeover of one of the founder's daughter, Clara. A makeover of Sandy Fairchild, who is a really pretty townie if I do say so myself.

Samantha, your Sims are gorgeous as always. Which BACC rules are you following?

Thanks. ;D And just the regular old ones, I suppose? I didn't know there were variations. Oh! But I do have a lot of custom careers installed, so I made up my own guidelines for them.

There is another set of rules by nepheris here, though it basically just makes it so you start out with a group of settlers rather than just one. It's the only other ruleset I know about other than the originial one, though. EDIT: Right now I'm playing through Pleasantview to see if I actually like to play the Maxis families. I just started in the Burb household, and am enjoying it so far. I'm already very fond of Lucy ^_^. Originially Herb and Coral Oldie and Darren Dreamer stopped by in the welcome party. Then Cassandra walked by and I invited her in as well. What do Cassandra and Darren decide to do? Kiss! I am so shocked right now. Guess that will cause some drama later on for Don and Cassandra's relationship.

I just took out half of my default face templates, because my game hasn't had enough variation for my tastes. Like, I really just want to get rid of the extremely hideous Maxis faces. Otherwise, I like the challenge of breeding out some of the more stubborn genetics. ;D
