A thread about music... Have you been to any concerts? I've been to two, soon to be three. In 2007 I saw Evanescence, in 2009 I saw Dream Theater and on May 31st 2011, I will be seeing The Cure. There's a 2 year pattern to this, I just noticed! What's your favourite music? Mine are... - Dream Theater - Nightwish - Within Temptation - The Cure - Radiohead - Jeff Martin - Evanescence - HIM - 30 Seconds to Mars - Panic! At the Disco - Muse - No Doubt - French Piano Accordions

Yay! I love threads like this <3 I've only ever been to one concert, for the Scottish band 'Runrig' with my parents in 2009... Didn't exactly suit me. I wanted tickets for a Jack Johnson concert last year, but they were all sold out, and I didn't win the radio competition either... I was sad! I have a varied taste in music, and I'm not really very into the sort of stuff that's in the charts at the moment. Some of my favourite music is: - Jack Johnson (my top favourite) - Snow Patrol - Gypsy & The Cat - Genesis - Classical Music (yep...) - Michael Bublé (his jazzy stuff) I also like Muse and Evanescence, depending on my mood

I'm really into country music. I think my dad unkowingly got me hooked on it and now I can't go back.
But lately I've been starting to really listen to more rock/pop stuff like Lifehouse and P!nk. But country still has my heart.
Some of my favorites: - Rascal Flatts (best band EVAHHH!! ...just saying...) - Carrie Underwood - Keith Urban - Taylor Swift (Yeah yeah I know... but I only really like her stuff that the radio never got a hold of. Most of it's pretty good before you hear it every day for six months) - Love And Theft - Lifehouse - Daughtry - P!nk - Uncle Kracker - Bon Jovi (been listening to him since forever... literally. My mom's favorite, so I think of him as the first band I've ever heard) - Nickleback - David Cook - Gloriana - Jason Aldean -Sugarland - Lonestar - Montgomery Gentry
I've only been to fair concerts. I've seen Lonestar, Blake Shelton (that was an awesome concert), Charlie Daniels, and Rodney Atkins. I'm planning to see Lifehouse and Little Big Town this year.

Just to let you know, The Cure concert was amazing!! Even though Robert Smith (the singer) is 50 or so, the concert was the best one I've been to. They had four encores...

I don't think so They did the first three albums and for the encores, just played whatever the heck they wanted to (Lovecats, Killing an Arab, The Hanging Garden, etc).

Haha, I really screwed up that post. I was on my iPod and half asleep. "Why Can't I be You" from was their 1987 album 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me'. As I said, I have it on a 45 record with the b-side being "A Japanese Dream". I'm not a huge fan, but they're cool.

I don't think they played Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me - that's one of my favourite albums. I don't remember the names of the first three albums they played but like I said, it was like a blast from the past tour since they played their first three albums. Wow it's been a week since it happened. Does not seem like it! I recently like Christina Aguilera. I just watched 'Burlesque' for the second time and I'm still blown away. I wish I could sing and dance like that - I'm just a simple little bookworm with a knack of words.
