{name:Poster#|#picture:0} This area has been viewed as a romantic haven for those that have found their way to it. It has had many names such as 'The Kissing Spot', and 'The Contemplation Corner', yet to some, it is simply viewed as trees and a small pool. [/color]

{name:Joelle River#|#picture:2}Dodging Twigs and Branches, Joelle weaved her way through the dense trees, trying to find the secret spot. Brian followed closely behind her. Joelle was on edge; the forest was to unknown, and dangerous for her liking. Brian consistantly reassured her that she would be fine! Joelle felt a jab in her foot, before she tripped, hitting the ground hard. She shook her head and examined for injuries quickly. Her search found a broken flip flop and a few scrapes. In hindsight flip flops were not proper hiking footwear. Taking the hand Brian offered her, she stood up and pushed through the tree, releaved when she saw the Secret Spot up ahead; her hike finally ending...until it was time to go for dinner! "There it is Brian!" Joelle said pointing.

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9}Brian stayed close behind Joelle having his hand out for reach. He was busy lugging all of their food, water, and beach toys. Somethings were falling out of the bag and he turned and stopped to pick up the falling items when he heard a crunch and a snap. "You okay?" Brian said reaching out a rather late, hand to grab. She took it and said nothing and returned to their hike. When Joelle finally pointed it out Brian thought he was dreaming. It was beautiful. The trees were alined in a perfect spot so just enough light could shine through and warm up the pond. Brian dropped the load and sat on a nearby tree stump and promptly took of his shirt, socks and shoes.

{name:Joelle#|#picture:2}Joelle watched Brian take his shirt off. "Excited to swim?" she asked him. Following his lead she took off her dress and flip flops, revealing her bikini. It was a green poka-dot one. Walking over to Brian she flashed him a grin. "Last one in's a rotten egg? She raced towards the water.

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9}Brian knew exactly what she was thinking. "Oh no I'm not,' He said running and jumping in. When his body reached the water he could smell the algae and feel the coolness in the water. His feet squished down on the sand and mud. "Wonderful" he said sarcastically.

{name:Joelle#|#picture:2}Joelle lurched to a stop, close to the waters edge, grinning manaically as Brian cannonballed in. When he surfaced he looked around anxiously for Joelle, not seeing her in the water. Joelle burst out laughing, pleased with her trick. "How's the water?" she called between fits of laughter. Looking down at Brian she stuck out her tongue. I'm the smart one today! she thought as she walked towards bank. Dipping her toe in, Joelle was delightfully suprised to find the water was warm; but not warm enough for her to get in!

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9}Brian knew now what she had meant. "Oh well" Brian said starting to swim in the murky water. Brian watched Joelle sit on her straw mat. "Tanning? He said coming out of the water. Brian sat down in the small sand area scooping up handfuls of sand and putting them down on a cleared and flat spot. Brian knew if his sister was here she'd already would have built a sandcastle and started to draw it.

{name:Joelle#|#picture:2}"The sun's so nice," Joelle murmered. She looked at Brian, he seemed...troubled. She got up and went to sit beside him. "What's wrong?" she asked him, hoping her joke hated made him hate her. "Did I do something Brian?" she quizzed, wanting to find out what was making him act so off. The sun shone directly on them, and the water sparkled in front of them. The water droplets on Brian's hair glimmered, making Joelle want to reach out and stroke his hair, taking away the beads of water and his worrie state.

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9} "It's just..." He started and abruptly stopped. "Nah nothing, I'm wet and Briar isn't here and...yea" Brian said satisfied with his excuse. "You look amazing by the way. Even though you tripped on the way over." Brian said pointing at Joelle's scraped up foot and bloodyish toe.

{name:Joelle#|#picture:2}Joelle gave him a confused look. She had no clue what Briar not being on their date had to do with his mood. She studied him closely, attempting to read his mind, know what was wrong. Or more realisticly, make him snap under her stare and tell her. She knew something was wrong and she hated that he wasn't telling her. "Thanks," she muttered as a response to his compliment. Joelle hugged her knees up close to her chest, resting her chin on top. She was hurt by Brian's silence. They just got back together and he was keeping secrets from her. Reaching up to push her hair out of her eyes, Joelle felt a cool wetness on her cheek; it was a tear. wiping her eyes and turning her face away from Brian she attempted to hide this. Darn it! she thought.

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9}Brian sloshed back in the water after being all sandy. He made a mediocre sandcastle compared to what Briar would have done. When he got out of the water to dry off, Joelle looked a little grumpy. "Guess now wouldn't be the time to ask." he stared down at his wrist where his watch would normally be then plopped down next to Joelle. He swallowed. "Are you mad at me or something?" if she was now was not the time. "Cold? Hungry? What?" Brian always had a hard time reading girls' minds. Even Briar's.

{name:Joelle#|#picture:2}Joelle looked at him. He honestly had no clue he had hurt her feelings. Something about the look in his eyes, the fear she might be angry with him, made her realize she was being foolish. "Nothings wrong Brian," Joelle said, feeling her insides melt as he looked at her. She pushed hersef off the sandy ground and walked back to her straw mat. Joelle dusted herslef off before sitting on the mat and staring towards the water. Something nawed at her mind. "Brian?" she said without looking at him. "You'd tell me if something was wrong right?" Now she did look at him, as she stretched her legs out in front of her.

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9}Brian chewed his lips hearing the worry in Joelle's voice. "Of course. If anything is wrong right now is timing." Brian glanced back at his bag. "I feel like I owe you something," Brian was wringing his hands. "Do you like jewelry?" Brian said not trying to give it away and acting like he had not bought anything. Maybe Joelle thought he was cheating on her? Brian slowly walked over and grabbed his bag and sat next to Joelle on both knees, for now. He peeked inside the bag and held onto the box, but didn't take it out of the bag.

{name:Joelle#|#picture:2}Timing? Joelle was a little freaked out by this point. "Brian." she said, putting her most serious look on her face. "Are you...looking through a waterfall?" she asked. Seeing his confused expression, she tried again. "Do you..have a pot?" Seeing him frown and think she must have completely lost it she stop trying to beat around the bush.
"Brian are you doing drugs?!" she almost yelled. "Because they aren't the answer to our issue Brian! Don't make our few days together a drugged haze ok! Just be the normal you and have fun while we can." Joelle gave him a hug. He was acting so unlike himself, nerves frayed, and pale.
"We'll find a better solution Brian. I promise!" Joelle finished.

{name:Brian Woods#|#picture:9}Brian gave Joelle a puzzled look. "You think I'm doing drugs?" He asked wide-eyed. "Even Briar doesn't do drugs. All I asked was if you liked jewelry. Is that so bad? Brian took Joelle's hand and stepped down onto one knee now. He kissed her hand. "You know I love you, and I never, ever want to leave you again." Joelle looked in complete shock. "To prove it to you I have this." He pulled out the black box and opened it. Inside there was a hand written note that read:
-Dear Joelle This would be much to hard and emotinal to say out loud. I'm never sure when the right time is or place so whenever I have the courage to give this to you please except it. I love you and will always care for you. I hope you think the same. What I'm really trying to say is; will you marry me?
xoxo Brian And in a different hand writing PS: Brair was here! (and half picked out the ring!)
