I thought that was an interesting question. Are any of your characters Mary-Sues? I took this test to see if some of my characters were Mary-Sues. And my first end result was 14. I only took part one, though. So, if anyone likes, take the test and post your results here. EDIT: Haha, I forgot the .net in the link. Thanks, Samantha.

It seems that your link it broken. I believe you forgot the ".net" part, because when I added that in, it took me there.

Ah, I love doing those. Whenever I write a story, the characters are the most important part of my story and I do everything to make them realistic and non-mary-sue. I haven't done one for my character Florence yet, so I'll do one when she was human and one when she wasn't...

I did the first two parts for the main characters of my two stories, and here's how they scored.
Nikolai Pavelka: 13 Jem Talcott: 8
And then, just for kicks, I did it for a girl named Parodee from a satire I did a while ago, because I deliberately wrote her as a Sue, just to poke fun. (She had purple eyes, was in love with a vampire boy whose name she never ever learned, was hated by the most popular girl in school, and was the "chosen one" for some obscure save-the-world mission.)
Parodee McSue: 29

^^ I loved that story, btw, I think I have it bookmarked I did this for a character that I have been dreaming up... She scored about 18 I think, perhaps a bit more... But she's pretty non-Sue, I think. To be honest, I need to work on stamping out Sueness in a lot of my characters. Most of my earlier stories are absolutely teeming with Sues. And teenagers with Rebellious Princess Syndrome. Yeah... *hides face in absolute shame* EDIT: I just retook the test and got -3 for the main character of my most recent story. Is this good, or bad?!

Sounds like a good thing to me--unless you somehow took the test wrong. Hahaha... ahhhhhh I'm still laughing! I have tears in my eyes, you're priceless. Thank you! Haha--yes! You're welcome.

Well, Gabrielle Vesper, - one of my Guild Wars characters - got a 45, and I don't even write her story! That was after going back over it and taking out the answers which actually worked for what the GW storylines are. Poor Gabe! She DOES have titles, though - lots of them. Her best one is "People Know Me." It's a collective title. She has eleven at the moment, including " Incorrigible Ale-Hound", "Connoisseur of Confectionaries", and "Grandmaster Cartographer" in both Elona and Tyria. A sue? No. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.108343172593749.15572.100002542014886&l=319b0f0701&type=1

I absolutly love taking this test for all my characters in my stories. Most of the time I end up with somewhat low scores - anywhere between 8 and 20 I think. But I know there was this one character which I made up when I was 7 (yeah, no joke) and I still hang on to him as a piece of my childhood. He was really high. But he's just to special to me to change.

The first time I took the test--about two years ago--I got a score of somewhere around 30 for a character of mine named Catherine. Now, my usual scores are between 3 and 20. That's quite an improvement. I re-took the test for the same character as last time--both parts this time--and ended up getting 11. That's three less. Weird. I took the test for a male character of mine and got -1.

It's a good test, but I think it's more suited to fantasy or sci-fi characters, just because there's so many questions that are relevant to those genres. I tried it out on a few characters. Jade Burke = 5. Hermie Harrison = 12. Jem Harrison = 14. Blake Stevens = 12. Not too bad, in that they're pretty low scores, but I think you'd have to take the test a few times for each character to get an accurate score. (I know I only skimmed through the questions, as most of them were fantasy-related, and probably missed a few qs I should have said yes to!) There should probably be a 'Stu' test too, because those questions are definitely more angled at female characters. Still, that was a interesting character development experiment.
