I really miss the Exchange the most. It was a bit... blue, but all in all it was the only part of the site I used a lot.

My dad won't let me install a file unzipper o it was the only place I could download from! I'm constantly trying to open thesims2.com and get new cc but I always end up realizing I can't get any!

I miss checking the exchange. I swear there was something wrong with me, I had to check it everyday, even now I check daily to see if the site is back up.

;D Haha I guess you agree, and Sunny. I understand but you should be able to download anything in a .zip or .simpack file.
That what was I was only able to do until I got 7zip!

It's the Exchange for me too.  I kind of miss the BBS too, but this is a good, even a better substitute for it. I know people can upload stories, sims and lots outside of the Exchange but it was always handy having them all on the one site. |

I miss the BBS the most. There was a lot going on, like the endless floods of picture threads, the "interviews" with pre-made characters, etc. You never really see much of that on the TS3 Forums. I've occasionally went on the TS3 site (even though I'm banned - don't ask) and most of the discussions tend to not be about the game.

Though I might be biased, I actual like this site better than the exchange . We basically have all of that stuff--forums, benes and ranks, PMs (which I personally like much better since you can send more than one without deleting old ones) which take the place of guestbooks, polls, and community showcases. There's also a downloads section in place of the exchange, but it's pretty different. So if you guys wouldn't mind, it'd be awesome if you could post what you liked better about the old exchange in this thread. Thanks! |
