Should I get pets again?

I posted this exact thread over on fail.ea.com but I can't log in now so I'll post it here too

Wow! It's been such a long time since I came on this site let alone posted on it, but as we all know its so difficult to get on this site that I just don't have the energy

However I need the advice of my lovely fellow simmers I had the pets expansion pack a few years ago and last year I decided to sell it because my laptop couldn't handle every single expansion so I got rid of a few and pets was one of them.

But now I'm thinking I might get it again cause I kind of miss the animals

Soooo to anyone who has pets post your fave things about the expansion and if you think its worth me getting again, because truth be told I can't remember much about it. However feel free to tell me if you dont think I should get it again, every opinion matters ;D

If it were me, I would get pets again. I know there's a lot of people who don't care for the animals running around, but I personally love it. Pets have always been a huge part in my life and it just seems weird not to have them in my sim game. And without pets (and possibly be some of the other ep's) there wouldn't be the penguins waddling by! Or skunks spraying the nanny who well deserved to be sprayed! Plus, it gives me werewolves, my favorite mythical sim creature.

So yeah, that's my opinion. I just don't think my sims game would be the same without pets. It must have been horrible trying to decide which ep's to get rid of! I don't think I could do it! lol

I know I'm the same I think I couldn't not have my pets in my life, so why should it be different for my sims? And thank you! I'd forgotten about all the neat stuff like the penguin and the skunk ^_^

Yeah I really wish I could afford a more powerful laptop, although I ended just having a few then I gradually started re adding them all one by one lol the only ones I dont have now are pets and freetime and I'm personally not a fan of freetime. If I got a more powerful laptop I woul get it just to have the complete set again (cause that makes me feel good haha)

Think I'mma gonna get sims, keep posting your fave things about it guys

Glad you saw my response. I actually just became a member of this site today and than stumbled on this thread so YOUR WELCOME I'm happy that you also decided to get Pets, I know you'll enjoy it yet again. You know, you never know what you have until it's gone! Enjoy!

You're so right! you really don't realise what you have until its gone, but it did arrive the other day and I'm already so glad I got it again!

So happy you're having fun with your game again (and I just posted on my other thread, but thanks again for the welcome) you'll have to post pictures of some of your simmies with your pets. What was your first pet after you installed?

Also, glad me siggy made you laugh, that is why it's there.

It was a grey tabby cat called milo

I want to make my real life cat and dog so I will try and make them as similar as possible and post pictures of both sim and real version to compare
