So, earlier I finished I setting up a new Tumblr account for my Sims. Whilst I was trying to find all the tumblogs I used to follow before, I was thinking that there is a huge community of Simblrs out there, and I know I mentioned that perhaps we could advertise this place a little more.
What if I was to make some sort of advertisement for this place, add a link to it and post to my Tumblr? Perhaps some more people would join? Or something like that. It'd help get this place 'out there' a bit more, without posting on like...another forum or something.
Like I say, it was just an idea, I don't know if it's a good one or not. What do you think?

I think it's a good idea. I don't know how successful it'd be, but it's worth a try. I really miss how lively this place once was. I'd be happy to reblog it myself.
(BTW, I just followed you on Tumblr.)

I was actually thinking about making a Sim Tumblr myself! I keep switching to different hosting sites because I can't find anything that really >works< for me.
I think it is a good idea as well. I'll follow you both once I get one and if it's okay to do the same advertise the site as well?

I'd definitely reblog the post, once I actually make my blog. As of now I only have Glee and One Direction fanblogs, but I've been thinking about making a simblr. So, yeah, it's a great idea.

Okay, thanks guys I'm not sure what will need to be put on the advert, but it's probably worth a try!

I keep switching to different hosting sites because I can't find anything that really >works< for me. I like Tumblr because it's very immediate and interactive. I can post something, and five seconds later get feedback on it. I prefer my LJ for hosting stories and downloads, but I like having my Tumblr as a supplement to it. Also, legrande, if you need ideas or whatnot, I'm sure we can give you suggestions!

I've never investigated it myself, but I'm a diehard WordPress fan. Blogger seems similar too. But it'd be hard to switch over to Tumblr I reckon! I think the ad idea is great

I'm pretty fond of Tumblr, mainly because it's really simple! It's great for just posting pictures and the like, in my opinion. I always liked the look of Wordpress (and thought it was classy) but I suck at technology and I found my account hard to set up properly. I'm glad that the ad idea seems to be a winner, and I'll get on with it shortly. I'm still thinking of ideas, but this place has a bunch of good qualities to advertise! However, any suggestions would always be gratefully recieved!
