Well, I finally discovered how to make object recolours, and that's a good thing! That aside, I don't have any school...

I was having a rather boring day and was heading home when I randomly met two of my friends driving past. We got chinese. It was the highlight of my day.

Today I learned how stressful applying for Uni is going to be, and consequentially how much I want to go. -_-
(I also realised I really like the university which is in the same town as my school; not only that, it's actually the best university in Scotland (statistically). This was annoying as I really want to move away to go to uni. D'oh.)

Today was the company picnic for the place that I work--my first-ever that I have attended as an employee--and I won a gift certificate to Wal-Mart in the raffle. My father's been working at the company for twenty years and he's only won once (and a blow-up water slide to boot). Got a good chuckle out of that. ;D

I went to the pool with a friend today, and even though I can't swim to save my life (quite literally) I had a pretty good time. I floated a lot. And got a pretty nice tan. Besides that, my house has finally upgraded to the 21st century - we got wifi! Yay! No more sharing a computer with everyone in my family!

^Yay for Wi-Fi!
Technology's amazing. Today I deposited a check into my account using my phone, and now I don't even have to go to the bank!

The weather has been great today. I spent around three hours lying out on my lawn reading Pride and Prejudice. Well, technically I spent an hour and a half reading, twenty minutes writing and the rest of the time watching My Little Pony but at least I got some fresh air doing it.

I think I've come closer to figuring out what I want to do with my life; I think I want to minor in Journalism, not sure what I want to major in yet (and I'm already going to be going into my 2nd year of college... yay for procrastination!). Step by slow, stressful, step, I'm getting there!

Today I auditioned for my school's senior production company pantomime!
I can proudly say that I was the second campest person there--(save my friend James, who floats through life on a cloud of fabulosity)--and I might just manage to get a role, I hope. We're finding out tomorrow; I'm very excited!
Not bad considering my friends all but dragged me there and I reneged against them until it was too late.

Passed my college exams, so roll on third year. It should be a good one - and if I ever get myself organised, I'll be going to study abroad in the States for the second semester. I'm pretty sure that'll be an unreal experience - it's just the paperwork that's holding me back.

I actually got started on a poem that's due Wednesday (what? no procrastination? huzzah!). But now I'm 3/4 the way through it and my muse is completely gone...
I'm liking how it's turning out so far. Much better than the last one I had to write.

I'm going to visit a university today--hopefully its going to be good because a) it has one of the best English courses in Scotland and b) its near the uni my best friends are planning on going to--we were thinking of sharing a flat if we all get in.

I've been lazing around my house today, procrastinating like crazy. I'm going to have a tough year; World Issues, World History, English and Chemistry Gr11 first semester, and Chemistry Gr12, Biology, Data Management and Writer's Craft second semester. I have a test in World Issues and Chemistry coming up, and I really need to kick my butt into gear and start studying! I also have a bit of homework I've been holding off.
I'm thinking about being a registered nurse, so I've been looking into a bunch of colleges lately (I'm thinking about getting my degree at a college because I don't think I'd fair well at university). My Mom wants me to stay in the town we live in, but I don't want to stay here. I've been looking into places, and I'm having troubles deciding on which places I want to apply at.
I'm getting my eyebrows waxed today (not so fun), but then I'm also going shopping with my Mom, so that'll be fun. Hopefully when I get back I'll be able to force myself to start studying!
