It's October, and literally half the people I know are October babies. Busy month in terms of birthday parties and present giving. Also, I got an English assignment done in time for the class it was due for, for the first time in like a year. My old English teacher would be doing cartwheels. Admittedly, I got it finished only about two hours before the class began... but I still met the deadline. ;D It's a good omen.

Since I suppose it's already a new day here... I've got the day off from school, which is always good. The thought that thirteen hours from now I'll be on stage is a thought which thrills/terrifies me too.
If we're talking yesterday/today (well, it is the wee small hours as my mum would say...) then the good thing of that day was probably the proper pizza that I had for lunch, sat inside out of the rain. Bliss.

The first snowfall of the year happened where I live today, even though it didn't stick or make us get out of school. I just loooove watching it snow! It's so pretty and calming. Too bad i was racking my mind with College Algebra while I was doing it.

^ LadyofShalott, I too know the pain of college algebra. Yuck. Not my favourite subject. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! Christmas exams over! Also - the frost is starting to hit, which may mean snow is on its way too. Home and sleep soon, with no work interruptions. It'll be bliss.

Easter Holidays began today, woo! It was a non school uniform day at school today, and we had to wear our house colours. Great excuse to buy a pair of bright yellow jeans. I get to have a lie in tomorrow, which is great!

^ Almost forgot about this thread. Thanks for reviving it. Besides some idiot on Youtube trying to start some sort of argument with me, today has been great. I just got a very nice comment on a fanfic I uploaded this morning, and it really made my day complete, so...

I sorta fixed my bike today that has been patiently rusting away in my basement. The chain is still acting up, but I got the seat the right height! I only have 3 days this week to go to school because of a college test and Easter break. It's gonna be a good week.

This is more a good thing of the week, but: SPRING BREAK, BABEH. It's over in three days, but this week has been pure bliss. ALSO: This isn't today, but it's tomorrow, and I'm so excited. iGo One Direction. I don't really like iCarly that much anymore, but One Direction being on is like maraschino cherries on top of freezer-burned vanilla ice cream. God I love 1D.

^ I haven't been really keeping track of 1D's progress since they left the X Factor, though their rise has been meteoric. Quite pleased for them that they're doing so well over in the US at the moment. Between them and The Wanted, British boy bands seem to be striving for world domination. O.o Similarly - SPRING BREAK. We call it the Easter holidays here, but it's the same thing. Two weeks off, it's brilliant. I really should be studying, but the temptation to just vegetate is too strong. Also - SUN! Nice to see it gracing Ireland for once. ^_^

^ TWO WEEKS?! I get nine days! And my last day is tomorrow on Easter. Boo Today I entered a contest to reblog a post on tumblr as many times as you can to win a whole crapton of 1D signed merch. I passed my reblog limit for today, which was 250 times, so now I have to wait until tonight to continue on reblogging. I'm a little more than obsessed, haha. I literally prayed to be able to win this contest, which ends on May 5th. Cross your fingers for me!

We do get fairly lenient holidays, I must confess! Still, it's got to even out somehow. I think we have less random days off over here. Or, possibly longer school hours. You might be just a litttttle obsessed... but good luck with the contest! Back to college, albeit only to study, and I have the house to myself and a large supply of chocolate. Nom!

Finally I'm on spring break! My school's late or something, because all you guys seem to have had it either last week or the week before that. All of my cousins were off last week, too.
Also, I'm going to visit two colleges during break. So by the end of this month, I'll (hopefully) be enrolled somewhere.

I'm on study leave at the moment. Granted, it's Saturday, so I wouldn't be at school anyway. However, I had yesterday off (and I was very productive. I watched a 16 and Pregnant marathon. Well spent day, of course.) and I will have Monday off as well. Fair enough, I have exams dotted throughout, but ultimately I don't have to get up early, which I like.

I took the world history exam today, which was my last AP exam for the school year (and for the rest of my life, at that), and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Of course I'll be worried until the scores are sent out in July, but right now I'm just so happy to be done with school (well, there's still a month left, but the only final that I have to take is calculus, and I'm really not worried about that).
