A few days ago I posted a thread saying my game stopped working when I went onto families. NOW, it stops responding when I go onto the loading screen. >_<
Help?

Take out your downloads folder, and put it on your desktop that way all of your downloads are out of the game.
Restart the game and see if this helps, if it does then it means that something IS in your downloads causing your game to corrupt which means you may have to either, find the corrupt download, see if any hacks are not working with each other, or you may just have to delete your downloads folder entirely and start from scratch.
If it doesn't help then I think your game itself might have a bug in it, and that could be any number of things, from your computer or the game itself. You can try patching it if you haven't already done that, but if that doesn't work then I don't really know what else you can do. You may just have to uninstall and reinstall the games. Sorry for your troubles =/

Well finding out if it was a download can be easily done if you check the Custom Content Dialog box like I had explained in your other thread, but if the download isn't showing up in your downloads folder it might be a bit harder.
First, if you have hacks I would check and see if they conflict with each other, some known hacks that conflict with each other are Inteenimator and Squinge's Wear Anything Pregnancy Hack.
** If You Find that Your Game Works Fine without the Downloads Folder then:** Honestly, I would just delete your entire downloads folder, and find some new downloads, and be very careful of the downloads you get from the Sims 2 Exchange.

For me that usually happens because it's loading. I have my game set up so it's in windowed mode, and it takes about a half hour to an hour just to load up the beginning screen. I'll click on it and it'll white out (like it's not responding). I usually just wait till it eventually loads.. just don't touch anything else and leave it to load. If it doesn't ever load and it's been longer then an hour and a half, I recommend dragging out your Downloads folder and reinstalling your latest expansion pack after backing up everything you want to keep (Downloads folder to Desktop, possibly neighbourhoods you'd want to keep).. If the problem continues to exist, IDK what to tell you.. By then I'm guessing it's either you need to pull out a few Downloads / uninstall a few expansion packs . Sorry if this wasn't helpful Dx !

Have you deleted any sims? Did you not turn off boolprop after you turned it on? If the answer is no to both and moving your downloads folder like Dani suggested fixed your game, then 1. Try opening up bodyshop. If you have no problem with bodyshop, you know the problem was not caused by CAS CC (hair, eyes, clothes, etc.) or individually downloaded (i.e. not part of a lot) sims from the exchange. 2.Download all of the patches if you haven't already. Then, delete your cache files. If that doesn't work: 3.When my game was corrupt, it was caused by lots I downloaded from the exchange. So first, move your Packaged Lots folder onto your desktop. See if your game works. If it doesn't, go to step 4. If it does and you don't want to delete all of your lots, add back individual lots, and check your game. Keep doing this until your game stops working. Then the lot you most recently added caused the problem. 4.You don't necessarily have to delete all of CC. First try just deleting the ones that override things. To out which ones these files are, open up your downloads folder with the Clean Installer. Then, delete all of the files that are red (these are the overriding files). Pink files are duplicates, so you can delete one copy of those too. If that doesn't work, but you want to keep your CC, you've got a lot of work in front of you . Try this guide to identifying problem CC. If your bodyshop worked, then you don't have to look through CAS CC. If you don't have your downloads folder organized, go through it with the clean installer, which will tell you what each file is. Hope this helps ;D!
