Reckoned it was time I got around to posting this
Hope everything is okay!

Name: Robert Daley
Age: 18
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Eye Colour: Green
Hair Colour: Light Brown
Occupation: On a gap year before college (Student)
Personality[/b]
Sport/Hobby: After brief spell of being forced into playing rugby at school, Robert decided that sports were definitely not his thing! Instead, he taught himself how to play guitar, and still plays some tunes when he’s in the mood.
Likes: Robert likes to spend time on his own. He doesn’t so much enjoy nature but can often be found outdoors because it’s peaceful. He also likes people who are honest, because for all his faults, honesty is a value he prides himself on. He also loves dogs. He always wanted a pet dog, but his parents wouldn’t allow him to have one-- he plans on saving up to buy himself one. He also likes to wander around old buildings like castles and churches, because he has a soft spot for history. For the same reason, he also likes museums and other places which have stories behind them.
Dislikes: He dislikes his mother; or at least the fact that she doesn’t seem to understand that he’s not a little boy anymore. He doesn’t like to be patronised, or treated like an idiot.
He also dislikes people who are arrogant-- without realising that he actually has a tendency to be arrogant himself. He also hates to be beaten in an argument, or at any sort of game. He has a very competitive streak, and doesn’t take well to losing, well, anything. He also dislikes coffee, as it reminds him of his parents, who he has a very difficult relationship with.
Background Story: His (wealthy) parents’ only child, Robert was born and raised in a small semi-rural town a few hours away from Lake Owensway. His father was a workaholic, running his own large business, but his mother doted on him; instead of turning him into a spoilt brat, the excess attention she lavished on him became the bane of his childhood. His overbearing mother was extremely protective of him, and he didn’t get the same freedom others his age got. She was always afraid that something terrible would happen to him. This sort of thing never really bothered his father, who only really cared more about his grades at school; hoping that someday Robert would take over the family business. Robert knew from an early age that that wasn’t what his aim in life was. As he got older-- into his teens-- he began to distance himself from his family, developing more of the antisocial side of his character.
After his final year at school, he put off going on to further education indefinitely, deciding to take a gap year and work out what he wanted to do in life (Much to his mother’s distress). He wanted the chance to live properly, without his parents and their money to rely on-- even if it was just a year. He wanted to gain a bit of life experience and see what he’d been missing out on for all those years. He decided to find some place to stay in Lake Owensway, that way he’s close enough to home if ever he does need that bit of a financial boost...
Personality: Robert doesn’t give a good first impression. He’s quiet and seems antisocial, and if he ever does get talking, he comes across as arrogant and rude. He can be very judgemental, and isn’t a believer in the saying ‘sarcasm is the lowest form of wit’. This is one of his largest downfalls; because of it, he often manages to offend people by accident. He doesn’t have many friends either, people think that he has a tendancy to be stand-offish , not that that bothers him much. He’s fond of being alone, and spends a lot of time thinking.
However, Robert is really just one of those people who are better for knowing.
Under his shell, he isn’t such a bad person as he seems. He has a very sharp wit, and a lively sense of humour. He’d be there for anyone if they needed his help, and deep down, he does actually care about people. He just has a funny way of showing it.
If people take time to get to know him, they’d realise he’s not completely the way he first seems.
