Just a quick question! On the desktop at home, I used to have Sims Clean Pack Installer installed, as you do, for installing new CC and sorting through the CC I had already. However, at some stage I'm guessing either my brother or myself uninstalled it (or did something to it), as there was no more option to 'Install all' when you right clicked on a folder. It still appeared on the list of installed programs however. I downloaded the program again, even though I mostly use WinRar these day, and attempted a reinstall. No luck; it told me I had to uninstall the version that was already on the computer. Not too concerned yet, I went to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and did just that. However when I returned back to try and install the new version, I still got a pop-up telling me to remove the old version. Even after rebooting, I kept on getting that message, despite the fact the old version is removed. Anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong or what I can do? It's not a major deal - could be just my ageing computer getting cranky - but I really would like to be able to have CPI.

I had that exact same problem on my old computer. I was never able to get it "uninstalled." Perhaps if you try Revo or a similar uninstaller/registry cleaner you'll see some results. I tried a lot of different things, but I honestly can't remember if I tried this or not. Also, check to see if the folder's been removed from the Program Files folder. Good luck!

Thanks, I'll give that a shot later and see what happens. :-)
