...this had better work.
Yay, it worked! Only after crashing three times.
All these Sims have really cool back stories that I only wrote down once, and consequently lost when adding a title image caused the attack of the browser crash in IE and Chrome. >_>
I will re-write, so you'll get descriptions (and two more sims!) when the rage!quit wears off. For now, you just get the Sims. Basically, they're Scottish themed, in a way.
So, this past two weeks I've been going all around Scotland, seeing Lochs and castles and whatnot, and it's sort of stirred up some patriotic spirit in me! So I decided to re-create some famous Scots in a modernised Sim form. I've using the life stories of the RL people to create back stories/personalities , and it was a pretty fun project. I'm adding a link to a Wikipedia page for the people the Sims based off as well, which I was planning to do last night before I got angry at my computer.
OKAY.
Mary Stewart
Mary is a feisty red-head, known for her willful ways and slightly frivolous attitude to life. She comes from a privileged background, and is used to getting exactly what she wants. She's also, surprisingly, an outdoorsy person. She loves to spend time in the country side, and to play tennis. Throughout her life, she's reveled in shocking her family with her unladylike behaviour since none of them would dare to pick her up on it.
She spent a great deal of her childhood in France, and despite the fact that she is Scottish, for a long time she was more fluent at French than English.
Poor Mary has been very unlucky with her marital pursuits. Her first marriage was short lived, as her husband died not long after they were wed. Her second husband wasn't particularly well-suited for her and often doubted her faithfulness to him. He even went so far as to kill one of Mary's close friends. However, he got what was coming to him, and left Mary a single mother to their only son.
Despite everything, Mary remains devout to her religion, her country and her family.

William Wallace
William's origins are a bit of a mystery. He won't talk about his past or his feelings with anyone. He is quick to anger and has a fierce temper. He is a bit of a misanthrope and values his personal space greatly. If he is upset, he will sit and brood on it for days, working himself into a mood.
His family is a sore subject, so people know not to talk about them in from of him. Although many people are very curious about it, the risk of setting him off into a rage means isn't worth trying.
His tall frame and red hair make him look extremely formidable; as a rugby player this is something he uses to his advantage. His tactic has proved effective and gained him the position of captain of his Stirling rugby team. His team mates have fondly nicknamed him "Braveheart" but he's never actually specified if he likes the name or not.

Flora MacDonald
Flora is a wellspoken, unassuming young lady. She's gentle and ladylike, generous to a fault and extremely kind. She will do her best to help anyone when they are in trouble, and will always stand up for what she believes in. She is a loyal friend and a trustworthy ally.
Her father died when she was young, but Flora gets on fine with her mother's new husband. He also happened to be rich, meaning Flora could be sent to school and she gained a respectable education. Her experience of city life also sparked her interest in travel. One day, she could imagine moving from Scotland to America.

Robert 'Rabbie' Burns
Robert--widely known as Rabbie to his rather unrefined family and friends--would like to think of himself as a deep thinker and a romantic sort of lad. He is currently a farm worker, with an education that is adequate at best, yet he is forever writing poems and songs inspired by anything and everything. However, no one takes a farm worker seriously, and he is yet to get his big break. He is popular with the ladies, and has written songs and poems of his love to so many of them than even he can't remember whose is whose any more.
Rabbie's friends keep encouraging him to try and get his poems out there a little more, so who knows? Maybe some day his works will be famous and well known world wide. Then again, you know what they say...the best laid schemes o' mice and men gang aft agley.

BONUS SIMS!
These two are random, partially inspired by the Loch Ness Monster but mainly a reason to use the green skins that I had in game. Nessie and Nestor. I know, original, right?
