I'm on City of Glass in the Mortal Instruments series by Clarissa Clare. I'm loving them, can't wait for the movie that comes out this year.

I recently read Jane Eyre. It was better than I thought it would be, although it was kind of slow at the beginning and I wound up skipping some chapters. The ending was surprising though.
My Cousin is a retired high school librarian and she recommended it to me along with Pride and Prejudiced, Sense and Sensibility and a few others.
I am currently reading Pride and Prejudiced, but so far I am having difficulty with it.
I also read Little Women recently and I was really surprised that enjoyed that book very much.
I am trying to get myself to read Water For Elephants. I enjoyed the movie very much and now I am curious to see how the book is. I will start on that book when I can get to the library and hopefully get the audio for the full narration feel.
I have a Nintendo DS game that has one hundred classic books in it. I wouldn't have considered any of these books if I didn't purchase this game.

At the moment I'm reading 'A Handmaids Tale' by Margaret Atwood, I'm about 1/3 of the way through it, and I have to say it really is quite a great piece of literature! Next up on my reading list are two books I recently acquired- 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower' and Michael J. Fox's Autobiography 'Always Looking Up'

I've just finished reading 'Seraphina' by Rachel Hartman, which was brilliant, seeing as it was mainly about dragons, and I'm waiting for the second book to come out in July.
I'm going to start reading 'The Killables' by Gemma Malley next, which I'm hoping will be good as I enjoyed her other books a lot.

I've just started The Hobbit. I've never actually read the books and since the movie just came out I decided I really needed to read the books. I think I like the movie more right now, though, which is weird because usually the books are always better. I've also made a rule to not read past the part in the movie because I don't want to ruin it.

I've got to admit, I love The Hobbit. It's one of my favourite books. However, I did like the film an awful lot and also I love Martin Freeman but eh that's not the reason I love the film so.
I've started Game of Thrones today. So far, so good. If a little disturbing.

I am currently reading Pride and Prejudiced, but so far I am having difficulty with it. I hated Pride and Prejudice. I'm sorry--I know that it's some great literary masterpiece--but I severely disliked it. All they did was go from house to house, fussing over their shallow little problems. /rant. At the moment I'm reading 'A Handmaids Tale' by Margaret Atwood, I'm about 1/3 of the way through it, and I have to say it really is quite a great piece of literature! I need to read this book. I loved, loved, loved The Blind Assassin. Ugh. I need to get on that. I was at a thrift store back home and I acquired a copy of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and I'm very excited to begin that soon. First I have to finish Euripides, though.

I'm currently in the middle of reading three books. I've been reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo while at work, 'cause it's rather slow there, and I'm really enjoying it thus far. I'm only 160 pages in, but I love Erika and Blomkvist's relationship, as inappropriate as it is generally considered (but I love the inappropriate).
I'm also reading The Death and Resurrection of the Beloved Son for my religion and violence class, and I'm not a fan. To much religion and not enough discourse on the history and violence.
I also started reading A Separate Peace for the fourth time on Saturday, and I'm live-Tweeting it as I go. Yesterday I found out that Gene went to the very same train station that I go to in order get home, and there was much excited flailing, just ask my roommates.

I'm reading Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. I read it in like fifth grade, but I honestly didn't understand most of it at that time. I just remember really liking it.
I'm also very slowly reading The Book of Mormon. My best friend is Mormon, and she gave me the book about a year and a half ago. I decided to give it a go, because I'm [some form of] agnostic and don't mind reading that sort of stuff.

I'm currently reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgensten (or something idk, the book's on my desk a couple of feet away and I'm to lazy to pick it up, sue me). So far it's actually really good. I had very low expectations for it, I literally only chose it because I loved the cover (shallow, I know, sue me). It's really interesting, and it has magic and that which was unexpected.
I'm considering read some Jane Austen (eugh) as well since the English class I'm taking next year requires me to study two Austen texts, and I might as well be prepared. I don't want to though, because in the few I've tried, I found them really, really annoying, and gave up after a few chapters.

Well, I just finished the first of the tie-in books of Criminal Minds... it was pretty good, and kind of surprised me how accurate it was.
I'm starting on Fated by Allison Noel(?) now. I've been wanting to read it for forever, so kinda excited.

I'm still on The Night Circus actually, considering I haven't picked it up since I last said I was reading it. I started reading Bram Stoker's Dracula which was actually fantastic. I started reading it in French as well, then decided that I don't have the patience for such.
I also read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green after my friend practically force fed it to me. I don't know how long it's been out in the US but it seems it's only just getting popular around here. It is really good and all, and I really liked a couple of the characters (well, Gus) but to be honest, I'm not going totally crazy over it like my friend was/is.
