So everyone knows summer is almost here. I still have exams and haven't played sims (for more then half an hour) was April! Anything new with your sims? Plan on doing anything with them in the summer?

I have less than a month left of school, but only two exams to take, so I'm basically done. Then I graduate. Tomorrow's senior skip day, actually.
I've been playing my game a lot lately ever since I got a new computer back in November (prior to that, playing was practically non-existent). I'm up to Generation 5 in my legacy, and they're currently in college. This summer, I'd like to get to Generation 10 and possibly start an Apocalypse Challenge or a BACC with the tenth-generation heir. I'd also like to finish my story, just because once I'm off to school in the fall I won't have access to the desktop that I play TS2 on. I'm hoping that my laptop will be able to run it...

I'm done with lectures and exams altogether, though I'm not entirely pleased by this. I like to be kept busy. Still, it's nice to be home for an extended period of time. Since installing the game on my laptop, I've been going with the same neighbourhood, Selenedale, which I've been trying to cultivate into a town-like, kind of Maxian 'hood. This means a lot of building and sim raising. I'm starting off with a smallish core of families which will expand and branch out until the place reaches 'town' proportions. I've also got a legacy going, one I'm trying to document as I go along, so it takes a while. I don't want to play further ahead than what I've written of it, in case a pile-up of writing scares me off altogether. I'm still on the 1st/2nd generation; the kids are all now teens and children. I'd really like to reach ten generations with this one though. It has a Greek mythology theme going on, with the names and to an extent, the characters.

Yesterday I did something really stupid and deleted all the game files. Long story short, it had some sort of wordless error screen that kept popping up, so I did the classic and moved my downloads folder out. It didn't fix it; so I thought "Hey, why don't I just delete some files?" For some reason it wouldn't let me save my "Neighbourhood" files, so I got really annoyed and deleted them along with all the others. The game runs fine now, so I'm kind of playing it safe and not reinstalling my old files since I don't know what in them was corrupt, not to mention that not all the files had the decency to stay in their folders when they were deleted, because my computer deleted them in some sporadic order.
So now, I'm probably going to sift through my downloads over the course of the remainder of my study leave since my exams are all finished and I've nothing better to do, and start rebuilding a new neighbourhood/game.

Since summer has already started for me (graduated last Thursday, woot! ) I hope to have a little bit more free time than what I did. I don't have anything specific that I'm planning on doing though, besides continue my rotation. I am thinking of celebrating a few summerish events in the game though, like the Fourth of July, the Summer Solstice, random beach parties and dances, etc. I don't even really know what I'm going to do on sims today. Either build a new house, get the last things I want from one of my neighborhoods and delete it, create a few people I've been meaning to create, or play my next family on the rotation. My next family has my very first alien in it and is very near and dear to my heart, so it's a big possibility that that's what I'll do.

I have around a month left of school, still being in high school and all. I'm going to have four exams, and I'm really dreading my Science one (Chemistry just doesn't bode well with me).
For my summer I'll be spending it eating a lot of birthday cake, since during June and July my family has a lot of birthdays (mines in July). For playing Sims; I really don't know. I've become a bit obsessed with playing XBox, and theres this new RPG out called Dragon's Dogma (or something along those lines) that I'll probably be nabbing soon. I may play Sims though, though when I do play its just boring; I can't get myself interested in it.
In my Sims game right now, though, I'm going to attempt to start a brand new neighbourhood and start if off with a legacy. Then, once I hit Generation 10, I'm going to have her die of heirless. I think it'd be fun to have a single rich Sim move into the Legacy mansion and be haunted by them. Then I'd simply build onto that, having the spares from my Legacy possibly keep the neighbourhood growing and adding a new family into the mix once in a while. Although, I've always been terrible with Legacy families (the desire to max their motives when I'm frusturated with them is always so strong...). I actually prefer doing ISBI challenges, since I'm terrible at taking care of everyones needs and that way I only have to take care of one person. Hmm, things to think about...
Anyway, that was my Sims babble. I'll also be trying to get a summer job, though out where I live it'll probably be difficult. I'm thinking of moving in with my Grandparents for the duration of the summer since my Grandmother may be able to get me a job where she works.
MOVING ON -- I'll shut up now. Hope everyone has a good summer and good luck to anyone who has exams!

School for me has been out since the 18th so we get out early.
This was my first year for exams and stuff and I must say I think I did well on them for the most part. This was also my last year of middle school so now I'm a graduate! ;D Onto high school for me!
I've been playing a lot lately. I've been playing my own neighborhood, Belladonna Cove (love the name but hated the sims in the original 'hood). I'm on my 2nd generation in my 'hood so its going good!
Over the summer I'm going to go to Florida with my grandparents, then I'm going away to stay with my Aunt, Uncle, and two cousins for a few days.
