So I finally decided to just go ahead and install the Sims 2 Pets on my computer, it went through it all and even had the pop up that said it was successfully installed, however when I ran the game, it said it hadn't been installed.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?

When I first got the base game (sims2 deluxe) it came with Nightlife; then I bought (over the next few months) all the exp. and stuff packs. As I installed them ; I'd occasionally get that message---then I tried changing the discs I played off of and found that usually I had to play off the last disc installed---but not always.
You may want to try playing off a different disc.
Are you patched up as far as you know ??

No, I haven't really taken the time to download any patches, I should probably do that though lol.

If you are just playing the wrong disk, you will get a message saying that you need a different disk. Have you done a search for the game on your computer? Mine lists all the games I have installed. Good luck and a bene to make you feel better if you have to reinstall.
