Residential Housing
Berma Apartments
This six-floor apartment complex is located downtown in the heart of the city, right at the center of the nightlife scene. Rent is cheap, but dwellers get what they pay for: small apartments, cheap furnishings, broken laundry machines, and not to mention the headache of nightly parties thrown by the complex's high number of college students.

Lakeview Housing Estate
Lakeview Housing Estate is a step-up from the Berma Apartments, generally preferred by the older generations of Lake Owensway, but certainly appealing to any peace-seeking young adult too. Rent is a little higher, but it's much less cramped, not to mention a good distance away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city. This estate complex is located right along the very lake that the city is named for.

Lake Cottage
The Lake Cottage is a cozy, cottage-like dwelling with three bedrooms that can each be rented out for a moderate price. While residents do have to share the rest of the house with their fellow renters (including bathrooms), the cottage's serene location makes up for its close living quarters. It is located in the wooden area behind the lake, just across the water from the Lakeview Housing Estate. It neighbors the Cherry House, which is just a little further up the path.

Cherry House
The Cherry House is a large and spacious waterfront home located in the wooden area behind the lake, just across the water from the Lakeview Housing Estate. There are three bedrooms to rent, each with private bathrooms. Although residents do have to share the rest of the house among themselves, it is certainly spacious enough that each can live comfortably. The house is neighbored by the Lake Cottage.

Owensway House
The large and elegant Owensway House is the oldest home in Lake Owensway, located in the south of the city directly across the street from State Street Park. It's far enough away from the downtown that it remains peaceful, yet close enough that shopping and commuting is a breeze. The three-story home can easily accommodate a family per floor, with private living quarters for each.

Nature
State Street Park
The park is located in the south of the city, on the outskirts of the downtown area. It's a great place to walk the dog, bring the children to play, or take a romantic evening stroll against the backdrop of city lights. On its west green is the public library; on its east is city hall. Directly across the street to the south is the Owensway House.
Owensway Lake
Located in the mountainous region of the city, Owensway Lake is the body of water from which the city gets its name. Back in the day, it was this lake that kept the city afloat when it was but a humble fishing town, and even today it remains to be a favorite spot among natives.
Mountains
Surrounding the lake are these great wooded mountains, the perfect place for joggers and hikers alike. There are plenty of flat paths and small hills to be enjoyed along the lake's edge, as well as sharp inclines and rough terrains to test one's skills.
Secret Spot
Located somewhere in the mountains, this majestic spot has long been viewed as a romantic haven to those that have discovered it. Although simply trees and a small mountain spring pool, it has been dubbed "The Kissing Spot" (or, by the more reclusive thinkers, "The Contemplation Corner").
Old Mine
The old mountain mine was closed down nearly a century ago, and to this day is said to be haunted by the ghosts of minors who were killed on the job. The city council claims that these ghost stories are merely hoaxes to attract tourists to the area, but who really knows what happened down there in those cold, dark mines?
Shingle Shore
The eastern side of Lake Owensway is where the beaches are located. While Shingle Shore tends to be more of a tourist spot than the lake in the west, this rocky beach's massive waves, extending jetties, and rock pools manage to attract even the most tourist-wary natives.
Rock Caves
Located a mile or so down Shingle Shore's coast, the rock caves can sometimes be dangerous to go out to. The city council has long warned adventurers against traveling out to the caves, but when has that stopped anybody?
The Forgotten Graveyard
This graveyard is an abandoned cemetery located on the northern outskirts of the downtown. Unguarded by any city cop, today it is more of a teenage hangout where young folks head late at night to experiment, rebel, and scare each other with ghost stories.

Eateries
Antonio's Restaurant
Known for its great wine, Antonio's is an upscale Italian restaurant with a formal dining atmosphere (an ideal place to host a business meeting) and optional candlelit dining (romantic enough to have a date by).

Katie's is a chic little restaurant located along the boardwalk. While it may look quite fancy (and expensive) to the naked eye, it's actually pretty reasonable when compared to a place like Antonio's. It features a wide, sea-food based menu—everything from sandwiches and soups to steaks and lobsters.
Tin Car Diner
Railcar-style dining with checkered floors, a jukebox, and great comfort food. Who doesn't love the diner experience?

Nightlife
Ascension
Ascension is one of Lake Owensway's most popular and crowded nightclubs, right in the heart of the city. It's sometimes a bit sketchy, especially later at night, but the city's youths couldn't care less: it is one of the few nightclubs in town where the bouncers are known to overlook fake IDs.
Enigma
Enigma is the favorite of Lake Owensway's nightclubs, both for its somewhat more tasteful atmosphere (especially in comparison to Ascension, although both are nightclubs) as well as its small turnout of teenaged rebels. It features a much larger bar than Ascension, although the dance floor in rather small—"more intimate," they say.
Old Boot Pub
Old Boot is an Irish pub located behind the grocery store in a nondescript alleyway downtown. The pub, dark and rundown, typically serves the same handful of drunks night in and night out, most of whom care barely get up off of their stools to urinate never mind utilize the foosball and pool tables located in back.
