General
First name: Sinclair
Last name: Henry
Middle name: John
Age: 19
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Dirty-blonde
Physical Description: Baby-faced, on the shorter side at 5'8", thin with no muscle definition, fairly tanned from spending time in the sun. Also has a piercing in his left nipple.
Occupation: Graveyard-shirt busboy at Tin Car Diner
Residence: Oak Street Trailer Park, 110 Oak Street
Personality & Background
Sports/Hobbies: Sinclair isn't athletic. Never one for team sports, he kept active in high school by doing the work that his father required of him on the family ranch. At age sixteen he left his parents' care, and these days he would much rather prefer to get his exercise in by taking a long, solitary walk around the lake. His passion is photography—in particular portraiture, but people in general—and he has even turned the extra bedroom in his trailer into a darkroom.
Likes: Though he isn't much of a sports guy, Sinclair likes to be out beneath the sun. For him this usually means sitting in the lawn chair outside his trailer door, but he can sit there for hours, listening to the bustle of his neighbors' children and watching the calm of the lake water. He likes plaid, button-up shirts and sweatshirts and jeans because they are comfortable. He has been wearing the same pair of Timberlands since he got them as a present for his fifteenth birthday, and they're the only pair of shoes that he owns. He doesn't sleep very well and makes up for it by consuming obscene amounts of coffee (with lots of sugar), which he drinks out of the World's Best Husband mug that his ex got him for their two-year anniversary.
Dislikes: Sinclair doesn't like bad weather that forces him to stay inside (although he's never before seen snow) or having to get dressed up, equating ties with nooses. He doesn't listen to music, doesn't like the radio, hates large crowds and large animals, and is afraid of cars when they're going above a certain speed.
Family & Background Story: Originally from a small rural town in northeast Texas (where he gets his slight accent from), Sinclair has been in Lake Owensway now for just under six months. Although he's only nineteen, he's already been once-married and once-divorced. His two-and-a-half-year marriage, which he's apt not to talk about (though he's apt not to talk in general), was for the better part spent in denial, convincing himself that it was working. A large and stubborn part of him still refuses to believe that it is over—but don't ask him where his ex currently is, because he doesn't know. She's off starting over, God only knows where, just as he's trying to do in Lake Owensway.
General Personality: Sinclair is quiet, preferring not to talk to others. He hasn't always been this reserved, but since his divorce he's become introverted, almost of afraid to interact with other people. He'd much rather photograph them from afar. He's jittery from a lack of sleep and an overconsumption of coffee. He's also a strict rule-abider. The biggest risk that he's ever taken (aside from getting married at sixteen, that is) is back when he'd gotten his piercing done, right after he'd realized that his wife wasn't coming back to him.
