Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well! I just got a new laptop and it has Windows 7. I believe I saw a post on here once with explaining how to install it on W7... But is the process any different? I would install my game, but I lost the first disc I just had it a few days ago, now it's gone. So...is there any way I could contact EA and have them send me a replacement? Or will I just have to buy a new one? Thanks!

If you've registered the game there should be some way to get a replacement from EA, or a free download or something. I'm not sure. Also, if you have expansion packs to install too, you might not have any problems with running the game--I had just Seasons installed at one point and it worked fine without anything special needing done.
If not, I think Amy's tutorial is posted in the Tutorials area... I thiiink.

Windows 7 and Sims 2 is an issue for a very very small number of people. In fact, most don't even know that any issue exists. So when you get your lost disc sorted, just try to install it normally. If you get a bunch of errors the tutorial should be around here somewhere but you probably won't need it
