This is a very stupid question, but anyways... How do you download sims? I've never been able to do it where they show up correctly. I can download from the exchange, but never from MTS2 or LianaSims. Thanks!

Sims from most (if not all) external websites are compressed in RAR or ZIP files, which need to be extracted. You'll need a decompression tool, such as WinRAR, which is what I use, though there's also PowerArchiver or 7-Zip, and probably many more. Creators usually export Sims as Sims2Pack files (and then add them to a RAR or ZIP archive to save space), so after extracting, you'll be left with the Sims2pack file to install, just as you would off the Exchange. If you're talking about why all the content from the preview doesn't show up when you install it, that's most likely because the creator didn't include everything in the download. LianaSims2 does that; they only include make-up (eyes?) and face shape. A lot of creators on MTS do that, too, though they'll usually list where you can find that content that they haven't included.
