Well, since we now have a Music thread, I thought that I'd start one for books! Yay!! I love to read, it's a fact. If I'm not writing, playing the sims, or doing schoolwork, I'll be stuck with my nose in a book! I thought it would be good to start a thread where we can share what our favourite books/ series of books were, and well I don't know... Talk about them?! That's just me anyway, I really have no idea what I'm talking about most of the time! ;D lol Anyway... My favourite series of books would have to be The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver or the Young Bond series by Charlie Higson. I also love... - The Enemy ~ Charlie Higson (ZOMBIES ) - Misery ~ Stephen King - 'Salems Lot ~ Stephen King (Scary stuffz) - Reckless ~ Cornelia Funke - The Lord Of The Rings trilogy ~ J.R.R. Tolkien - The Book Thief ~ Markus Zusak There are a lot more, but I'm not going to list my entire bookcase! So.... What about you guys? What sort of books float your boat?

The Dead and The Gone by Susan Beth Pfeffer - Book gives me chills omg but its so good
- Don't read if it if you're a softie. Srsly I don't usally get teary for books, but there was just some times where I came close to crying
- There's parts that are really chilling. Like they go raid dead bodies and stuff.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusack - Best book ever. Srsly.
- Its WWII time though, so if you hate hitler, you're really gunna hate him here.
I read way to much. I read about three books a week. I'm always re-reading books.

Oh, books books books! I love reading, but I'm more into YA books. My favourites are: ` The Hunger Games ` HARRY POTTER! ` Tallow/The Curse of the Bond Riders ` The Devouring ` Vampire Academy ` Interview with the Vampire And, I think that's all, haha! I'm always re-reading too. A couple of weeks ago I re-read the 'Vampire Academy' series. 6 books, all about 400 to 500 pages. I re-read it in one weekend. Power reading makes me feel very disorientated and strange. After I finished reading the last book, it felt weird not being in the characters head. The book felt realer then reality!

Books I'm into: ~ All-American Girl by Meg Cabot (really strange/funny/romance book for teen girls) ~ Harry Potter Series (I'm only on book 5 ) by J. K. Rowling ~ The Hunger Games (just started to read this) by Suzanne Collins ~ The Doll People (an amazing book that's a bit like toy story with lots of "action/adventure" and 2 others to the series which I've read) by Ann Martin

I only read it last year (Harry Potter) and I've always loved reading. You have to finish it - it's amazing. I'm so happy no one here said their favourite book is 'Twilight'...

My absolute favorite book is A Separate Peace by John Knowles. I also really like The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.
I've also read a lot of Jodi Picoult, though with her, I find that I love some of her books and dislike others. My favorites are probably Vanishing Acts, Nineteen Minutes, and Salem Falls.
And I also like James Patterson, and I'm working my way through the Alex Cross series. But I've also read countless others, including Beach Road, which I was in love with a couple of years ago.

My favourite series of books would have to be The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver or the Young Bond series by Charlie Higson. OMG I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER CoAD FAN!!!!!! I read Wolf Brother in seventh grade and no one saw why I liked it so much! But I'm ashamed to say I never read the whole series. Those books are just so hard to find. Anyway, some of my favorites: - A Great And Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray -- My absolute favorite series. I just love it so much I can't even describe it. 3> - Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins -- Started reading this last year and I totally freaked when I saw the school library had the second and third one. - The Darkest Powers Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong -- Actually got my cousin hooked on these. Simon always made me smile... - Alex Rider Series by Anthony Horowitz -- I was absolutely IN LOVE with these books in sixth grade. And then when the movie sucked I died a little inside. - This Lullaby, The Truth About Forever, and Along For the Ride by Sarah Dessen -- Sarah Dessen is like my guilty pleasure. I feel like I shouldn't like sappy young adult romance books as much as I do, but oh my god I just love them. Along For the Ride actually influenced one of my sim neighborhoods. - Harry Potter -- 'nuff said. There's not a time in my life that I remember when Harry Potter wasn't in it. It's going to be so sad when the last movie comes out...

Legrandevampire; I like LOTR as well ! I'm always reading it and don't get tired of it at all...even though I can never sit down and read even a fourth of it at once. I also have the extended DVD movie version---the extended version is great if you like LOTR---can't wait for the Hobbit movie ! Also in the list are the Dune novels by Frank Herbert and the prequels by his son, Brian (?). Some of C.S. Lewis and Richard Adams. There's more but I have to go do chores and housework....... Fun thread !!!!!!!

I think the only other person I've met who's even heard of them is my English teacher (and spoilt it for him by writing a book report on the last one before he read it) They're so good! I have them all. Sorry guys, I just realised that I seem to be spamming this thread a little...
