Hey!,Ok, so for some reason, ever time i go into a sims 2 house or create a sim, the clothes look blurry and faded. I did check my game settings, they were all set to high, so it can't be that. Could it be because of my CC? i don't remember ever having a problem with it before. Or should i uninstall my last EP and re-install it? (and back up my files?) or delete some cc? help!
thanks

It could be your graphics card. I had a problem like that on my old computer. Check out the clothing in Body Shop. If it doesn't look blurry there, it may be that your computer is having a hard time handling the game. If it is blurry, the CC might not be high-quality.
Also, try minimizing your game for a few seconds when it goes blurry. That used to reset the graphics for me. I have no clue if it'll work for you or not, though.

Ok, it's weird though, Because my computer is like 3 years old, the CC i download was working fine for months except all of a sudden i go on and the clothes are a little blurry :S it could be the graphics card i guess, but i'm not sure.
EDIT: ok yes, so the clothes are in fact blurry in body shop, but it can't be because my CC isn't high quality because like i said it was working fine for months, and i haven't downloaded CC since before Christmas break.
Could it be my graphics card?

If it's suddenly just started appearing blurry, I honestly don't know what it could be. Maybe it's your graphics card, but I'm starting to doubt that.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Could you show us some pictures? ? I feel I can understand better, but also make sure your CC is enabled.

Yea what I would try doing is make sure all ur graphics are set to high (adjust them low then high). Otherwise its a new graphics card for you.

I had a problem like this before, but it was due to running the game on an old computer (and everything was blurry, not just the clothes). Maybe you should try backing up your files and uninstalling the game?
I don't know if it will help at all, but graphics cards can be expensive so you might want to make sure the problem can't be solved by something as simple as that before you consider buying one.

@ Cayla alright, i'll try that soon @ legrandevampire hmm well my computer isn't old, it's like 2-3 years old and what's really weird is that, when i start up my computer it has the different user names (mine, my sisters) any ways when i log on to my sisters profile everything looks normal on hers (we don't have the same files, so things that show up on my files in my game won't show up in hers) another thing is we use to have 3 users and it happened to the other user's profile before mine. which is weird. could it be because i have too much CC? i've never had problems with my CC before... xd

How big is your Downloads folder? Also, how much storage does your computer have? (You can check this by right-clicking on the folders.)

right now the size of my D.L folder is 7.27 GB. i have another game on my computer that i no longer play, do you think i should uninstall it? maybe it's just taking up space?

That seems rather large (at least to me). Try moving everything inside your downloads folder to a folder on your desktop. Then install a couple set of clothing/hair/whatever and launch your game like that. If they appear clear in the game, then you know it's an issue with having too much CC.
Though it depends on how much disk space your computer has (you can check that by going to "Computer" and right-clicking on the properties for the disk drive), that other game shouldn't be causing your computer to have issues. If you have very little disk space, or very little disk space left, then I would recommend uninstalling it; otherwise it should be fine. Also check your RAM. My old computer had only half a gig of installed RAM, which is, coincidentally, also the amount of RAM that one EP for TS2 takes, and I had very similar issues to what you're describing.

Well setting everything low to high didn't work and when i go to "Computer" then right click on the sims disk drive thingy (it has a little sims icon) then go to properties then i check available space (which is in pink) and unavailable space (in blue) there is no pink left, just blue (i will attach a picture), does this mean i have too much CC? or that i should un-install another game on my computer?? (This image is from Google, its just an example) www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Articles/Sources/Pioneer%20DVR-A03%20DVD-R/images/vob-9.gif see? like this only mine is all dark blue and under my sims drive thing.

Don't click on the Sims one, click on the computer hard disk (on my computer, it's the "Local Disk (C:)"). You want to see how much space your actual computer has overall. On some computers (especially if they're older), 7.27 GBs of CC is a lot of CC.
Also, I do suggest that you try copying your downloads folder to your desktop, as I mentioned above.

I have a suggestion, which may sound incredibly stupid but it may work. Try to make a different user account and then put your Downloads folder in there, and see what happens if nothing else works. I do recommended what Samantha has suggested with placing your Downloads folder on the Desktop, though.
